I regularly visit our suppliers' factories and quarries. This is to ensure a high level of quality control, together with the ongoing sourcing of new stones and their finishes.

Ecological flooring - stone floors are the green alternative
I am aware of the demand for sustainable materials, the impact of the carbon footprint and green issues relating to our planet.
The long lifetime of Stone means that renewal costs are reduced and the lifetime cost is actually less than that of what appears to be a cheaper alternative. Stone is inert and produces very little if any emission, unlike other floor coverings, ie cement/concrete/porcelain tiles Carpet etc all of our overseas suppliers are checked for employment conditions ISO certification and their environment policies.
The majority of these Quarries have been verified, and all Quarries in France and Europe have been personally visited by myself, so I know where it comes from the staff and how it's made! I don't buy from country's with oppressive political regimes or countries that exploit cheap labour, I am a supporter of Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and Amnesty international.
I am totally committed to the recycling and re-usage of packaging materials, our workshop is powered by Poweo on their Green clean power scheme, Any way that i can reduce my companies Carbon Footprint is constantly under revision and is always open to suggestions.
